The Techspectations team regularly host free webinars, workshops and mini-conferences.

Our next event is hosting the annual Get Started 2015- Free Business Start up Mini Conference. The event will be taking place on Tuesday, 17th February 2015 at Dublin City University. The mini conference will feature presentations on creating a business whether a commercial or other.

The conference is organised by Techspectations  and  DCU Business School. Get Started 2015 will feature talks from a number of successful entrepreneurs, including Kealan Lennon from Cleverbug, Niamh Bushnell, Dublin Commissioner for Start ups, David McKernan from Java Republic and Paul Kerley, formerly of Norkom Technologies. Speakers will share stories about their experiences of starting their own business, challenges they faced and how they overcame challenges. Get Started 2015 will also feature a panel and presentations from key staff in DCU who are involved in innovation and commercialisation including Richard Stokes, Director of DCU Invent, Eoghan Stack, DCU Ryan Academy and Ronan Furlong, Executive Director of the DCU Innovation Campus. Get Started 2015 is tailor-made for anyone who would like to be up-to-date on the latest innovations in startup and entrepreneurship. Additional speakers will be announced soon.
